Who I Work With

Finding a therapist who genuinely understands your lived experience can make all the difference. My practice is built around working with adults who are members of the  LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, polyamorous, kink/BDSM, and body-diverse communities because I know how exhausting it can be to spend half of therapy explaining your identity, correcting assumptions, or wondering if you'll be judged.

Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or the lasting impact of rejection, discrimination, and systems that weren't built with them in mind. Whatever brings you to therapy, we'll work together to make sense of it in a way that feels collaborative, affirming, and grounded in your own values, not someone else's expectations.

LGBTQIA+

There isn't one "right" way to be queer.

I work with people across the full LGBTQIA+ spectrum because I know how different each person's experience can be. Some folks come to therapy to explore their identity. Others are navigating family rejection, religious trauma, coming out later in life, relationship concerns, gender transition, or simply looking for a therapist who won't make assumptions about who they are.

You shouldn't have to spend your therapy sessions explaining queer culture, defining your identity, or wondering whether your therapist is quietly judging you. Therapy should be the place where you can finally put that energy down.

Whether you're questioning, confidently out, or somewhere in between, my goal is to create a space where every part of your identity is respected. We'll focus on what you want out of therapy, not what some unspoken rule says your life should look like.

Neurodivergence is part of who you are, not something that needs to be fixed.

For many neurodivergent people, life can feel like a constant effort to meet expectations that were never designed with them in mind. Whether you've spent years masking, feeling "too much" or "not enough," or wondering why things that seem easy for everyone else feel exhausting, you're not alone.

Therapy doesn't have to be another place where you're taught how to fit into a neurotypical world. Instead, we'll spend time understanding your brain. Together, we'll build self-compassion, make sense of your sensory needs, identify executive functioning strategies that actually work for you, and explore ways to reduce burnout instead of simply pushing through it.

My goal will never be to try and force you to be neurotypical like many of your previous services or interactions have likely attempted. My goal is to help you build a life that works with your brain instead of constantly asking it to be someone else's.

Body Diversity

Your body doesn't have to be something you spend your life fighting.

Many of us grow up surrounded by messages telling us our bodies are projects to improve, control, or apologize for. Whether those messages came from diet culture, ableism, chronic illness, disability, gender expectations, or years of feeling like your body wasn't "good enough," they have a way of shaping how we see ourselves.

In therapy, we'll create space to explore those experiences without judgment. Together, we'll untangle shame, reconnect with your body's needs, and challenge the belief that your worth depends on your appearance, productivity, or physical ability.

Body liberation doesn't mean loving your body every single day. For many people, it starts with something much simpler: believing your body deserves kindness, care, and respect exactly as it is. My goal is to help you build a relationship with your body that's based on trust and compassion instead of criticism. Our bodies are marginalized enough by everyone else, I'm here to help you end that cycle with yourself.

Relationships don't have to fit one mold.

Whether you're polyamorous, consensually non-monogamous, exploring relationship anarchy, opening an existing relationship, or still figuring out what feels right for you, your relationship structure won't be treated as something that needs to be explained or justified.

Too often, people in consensually non-monogamous relationships worry that therapists will blame every challenge on the fact that they're non-monogamous. That's not how I work. Relationship structure is only one piece of the picture, and there are no rules about what that structure has to look like.

Instead, we'll focus on the things that actually matter: communication, trust, boundaries, attachment, conflict, intimacy, jealousy, and building relationships that reflect your values rather than someone else's expectations.

I also have experience working with people involved in kink and BDSM communities. My approach is sex-positive, affirming, and free of judgment, so you can show up as your full self without worrying about educating your therapist before the real work can begin.

Kink/BDSM

Kink, BDSM, and sex work are topics that a lot of providers shy away from. Whether these are central parts of your life or simply one aspect of who you are, you deserve a therapist who approaches them with knowledge, curiosity, respect, and without judgment. I provide a sex-positive, kink-affirming space where you don't have to worry that your consensual choices, relationships, or work will automatically be viewed as the source of your struggles. If those parts of your life are important to what brings you to therapy, we'll absolutely talk about them. If they aren't, we don't have to.

Unfortunately, many people in these communities have had experiences with healthcare providers who pathologized, misunderstood, or dismissed them simply because of who they are or how they choose to live. My goal is to offer something different. Whether you're navigating relationship dynamics, communication, boundaries, identity, shame, stigma, trauma, burnout, or concerns completely unrelated to kink or sex work, you don't have to educate me before we can do meaningful work together.

Above all, I believe that consensual, informed choices about your body, your relationships, and your sexuality deserve the same respect as anyone else's. I want you to be able to show up fully, without censoring yourself or wondering whether you'll be judged for living a life that falls outside of other people's expectations.
